FOCUS is a community-based, nonprofit organization whose purpose is to enhance employment opportunities in the South Simcoe area, including Alliston, Angus, Beeton and Tottenham since its inception in 1985.

In 1987 employment services such as: Employment and Career Counselling, Job Search, Job Postings, Resume and Cover Letter Assistance, Career Decision Making and Employment Workshops were added to the organization giving FOCUS vast experience delivering employment programs in South Simcoe County.

As a client of FOCUS, you will have access to: Knowledgeable and Friendly Staff to Help with your Job Search, Local Labour Market Information, Computers, Printers, Photocopier, Fax Machine, Internet and Application forms from local employers.   If you’re looking for work, we can help!

FOCUS has always been committed to ensuring the health of the community. Economic health through employment is a key factor in a healthy community and it is in this area that FOCUS continues to concentrate its efforts.

By working closely with other community partners and services, FOCUS has been able to achieve economy and efficiency while providing quality service.
